Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Commerce Township

We are happy to announce that the Commerce Township Community Library, in partnership with the Friends of the Commerce Township Community Library, are now the sponsors of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Commerce Township! Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library puts free books into the hands and hearts of children across the world, and we are excited to bring that to every child in Commerce Township. The Imagination Library provides a hand-selected, age-appropriate, high-quality book each month to registered children from birth to age five, at no cost to the parent or child. Children can be registered at birth (or anytime after) and will receive up to 60 free books before they turn five!

Once registered, a free, age-appropriate book will be mailed directly to the child every single month until age five. You can register by mail, by going online, or by visiting the library. All children under the age of five who live in Commerce Township are eligible for enrollment.

About Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library: Since launching in 1995, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has become the preeminent early childhood book gifting program in the world. The flagship program of The Dollywood Foundation has mailed well over 100 million free books in Australia, Canada, The Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom and the United States. The Imagination Library mails more than 1.4 million high-quality, age-appropriate books each month to registered children from birth to age five. Dolly envisioned creating a lifelong love of reading, inspiring them to dream.
