Commerce Library Reading Programs Header

As part of our mission to promote reading and discovery within an innovative and inviting environment, we have developed a number of fun and rewarding reading programs that patrons of all ages can participate in throughout the year.
Connect to our reading programs, and track your reading activity, through our new reading software, Beanstack!
On this page you’ll find descriptions of our current reading programs, and information about Beanstack.
Just click any of the logos next to the descriptions to get started.

Beanstack is a free online service that allows patrons of all ages to track their reading and connect to the library. It includes book and activity logging, badges, and registration for all members of the family under one account. Connect via computer or mobile app!

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a fun, exciting, and free way to start your child on the path to success! Any child ages birth to five years can participate. Any and all books count. The goal is simply to read and get rewarded along the way!

Libraries around the world will encourage their communities to read 150,000 books this winter. Help our library participate in this challenge by reading 10 books during the months of January and February, and earn prizes for completing the challenge!

The Summer Reading Program runs June 15—August 17, 2019.
Patrons of all ages can earn prizes by reading books, writing
reviews, and logging activities. Families can manage their reading under one account. This year’s theme is A Universe of Stories!
